Joshika Chakraverty is from Sunnyvale, California. She double majored in Chemical Engineering and Applied Mathematics at MIT. While at MIT, Joshika researched the phase transition temperatures of water under nanoconfinement in carbon nanotubes with Professor Michael Strano. After graduation, she interned at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory for six months working on nanofluidics under Alexandr Noy. Currently, she is working on developing a theoretical understanding of the fundamentals of statistical mechanics and transport phenomena in electrolyte systems. In her free time, Joshika enjoys teaching, cooking, dancing, and weightlifting.
