About
Bio/Description
Anthony López is from Long Island, NY. His research focuses on developing computational frameworks to control the motion of particles in fluid flow fields. Using optimization and model predictive control, his work explores how sources and sinks can be designed to guide particles, assemble structures, and create dynamic behaviors at the microscale.
Outside the lab, Anthony enjoys taking walks, playing volleyball, finding humor in everyday situations, and talking everything but science with the other group members. If you need someone to discuss Peruvian food, or convince you that debugging counts as character development, he’s probably your guy. Unless it involves waking up early, then you’re on your own.
